This reminded me of raiding a friend's recipe collection. Very chatty, but the recipes have very little explanation, many have one-step: put everything in rice cooker and turn on. While quick to read, my rice cooker has a lot of settings and it won't be quick or easy for me to figure out which one works the best or what to expect from each recipe. So I guess I get to do the actual experimentation, which isn't what I expect from something I paid money for. From the ingredients in the actual cooking directions (cheese in a 100% Vegan Approved cookbook?) differing from the listed ingredients, I wonder how much actual testing went on as opposed to someone scribbling down what they did after the fact. I could find more than 50 recipes like this online for free in a few minutes of googling. I choose to use cookbooks because I prefer the guidance people with more knowledge of ingredients and appliances than I have, so I regret not putting my hands on an actual copy of this first. If a friend had emailed this to me as a file of recipe ideas, I would be stoked. An edited, tested, cookbook this is not.

Delighted with this rice recipe book. I've always loved cooking with rice having had an award winning rice recipe handed down through the family and using brown rice as a healthy meal base staple. I discovered many new ideas that I will use in this book. I especially loved that the meals are not only delicious food combinations thy are nutritious, affordable, and easy to prepare. A well deserved 5 star for this one.

Simple. Not many photos but easier to use with my basic $20 rice cooker versus a more delux book that caters to more sophisticated rice cookers, has more photos, and rice variations. This is just what I wanted for a fair price. Some additional receipes for a gluten free person who eats a lot of rice and loves my cooker as the rices come out perfect every time. I also am just learning how different in taste and texture there are of many rices. Having easy tasty fun...with what was boring brown rice.

This author grates on me BIGTIME. His writing style, his smartalec self-publishing, his arrogant self-important self-aggrandizing YouTube videos, his unsophisticated recipe for sushi rice, all of it leaves me wanting to strangle the guy.There may or may not be some practical, rather unsophisticated recipes for food that won't kill you immediately in this book.This book is the best reason I have ever seen for editors and literary critics.And yes, Dexter, if you're reading this, I am over 50, know my way around a kitchen, and find you totally aggravating.

Rice Rice Baby by Author Dexter Poin is chock full of delicious rice recipes for vegans and all others who enjoy nutritious and tasty food. My daughter & her children are vegans...therefore, I will be happy to share these recipes with them. I personally don't own a rice cooker but after reading this author's take on the benefits of using one and with the recipes provided, I think it will be a new addition to my cookware in the not-too-distant future.Also, I really enjoyed getting to know this author a little better by his preamble at the beginning of the book. It gives a glimpse of his sense of humor before he sets out to share a wide range of recipes with his reading audience...50 rice recipes to be exact. You certainly don't need to be a vegetarian or vegan to enjoy them. There is a vast array of recipes which are sure to appeal to pretty well any palette. Just to mention a few, some of these are Veggie Rice, Black Bean Soup, and even Banana Coconut Sticky Dessert. The pictures of the prepared product certainly add to this recipe book. I love rice but had never really considered it as the main event in a meal. This book has really changed my mind with its great range of mouthwatering recipes and the author's zany sense of humour!

The breakfast burritos were amazing. I really loved this book. The recipes are easy and delicious!

I'm a big fan of my slow cooker and rice cooker. They're unexpectedly versatile in the kitchen, easy to use, and so convenient when you want to make a meal without a lot of time and effort. For the busy cook, this author's books are a life saver. This particular cookbook is full of great recipes that use a lot of my favorite flavors. Although I'm not a vegan, these recipes will come in handy when I'm looking for a little more easy variety after a busy day. These recipes are also easily customized and varied, which is always a plus. I'll never be stuck for dinner ideas now. Highly recommended!

Kelly Roth, a profiler for the FBI Behavioral Science Unit. She is called in on a case in her home state of NY in the same area she grew up. She left NY after she was attacked just before going to college. She lives a solitaire life in Virginia working for the FBI. She likes her life where she keeps to herself and does her job. She hasn’t been in the field much and this case will give her that experience as well as bring her back home. Kelly meets up with the area police that are working the cases in the three different counties where women were murdered and left to be found by whomever might stumble upon them in local parks near their homes.As Kelly begins to create her profile and meet with the investigators on the cases, she has to prove her theories to the investigators. She is the only FBI agent on the case after three deaths and the media tagging the murders as the Park Killer victims. When a fourth victim is found still breathing, Kelly calls her boss and asks for help and a larger team to find the killer.The only way these cases seem to be connected are due to the way the victims have been killed, the victims are women and one child. One of the women is pregnant, but the women or families are not known to each other. Kelly has to figure out how the victims are selected.The was the first book I’ve read by T. J. Brearton. It was full of suspense and a twist at the end. I really liked it and was surprised at who the killer was and how he acted. I give this story a 4.5-star review and recommend it to any reader who likes police procedural, suspense, crime, or detective stories, and stories with a twist at the end. It was a great story and sucked me in from the first page and wouldn't let go until I finished the final chapter. I love a story that will pull in so quickly and keep me there.

A crime thriller with more twists and turns than a roller coaster. I really had to work hard to determine who the perpetrator was and have to admit I failed miserably. A novel written on different lines than the usual Police procedural, excellent!!!

This book had me from page one! Great lead character, full of suspense, with unexpected twists. Intelligently written and realistic! Definitely recommend!

It is a fast read when you need to relax, but it could have been longer. Generally I love all the Angel Paws stories that were published this far.

This a great story for kids as well as adults to read. It shows you how to take responsibility for things and that if you want something bad enough you have to work at it. Even if you don't always win, to do your best and enjoy what your doing!

I am a dog lover and enjoyed reading this story that showed the special bond between Chance and Ashley. I know it was "just a story" but it's encouraging to read about a young person willing to work as hard as Ashley did to train her dog. I'm looking forward to other Angel Paws stories.

Love all the animal stories so far.this was fast reading and pleasant.i have had golden retrievers and they are the happy,friendly and want nothing more than to please.very sweet and great with everyone.I enjoyed reading how chance learned and was so close with ashley.a lot of dogs can seem clueless but with the right guidance reveal how smart they are.patience and love work wonders.keep writing.the stories are wonderful.

Chance is a dog full of mischief and adventure. He is also a dog that seems to be underestimated. This was an awesome shorty story that left me wanting more...

Really good short story and enjoyable for all ages. Kids, especially, will love this but even being in my 60s - I enjoyed it. Great learning tool for kids - not doing things 'perfect' is not the most important thing - enjoying yourself is.

We have had four Golden Retrievers in our family and they are the sweetest dogs. However, they can be stubborn as all get out. This book points out not only the change in the dog but the change in the family who love him.
