The main reason I decided to read Rescued Volume 2 was that I was very interested in learning more about one of the 12 cats (Wu Kitty) who tell their story of survival and rescue. As hard as it was to hear Wu Kitty tell her story of her life on the streets and at the ACC and as much it made my heart ache for her and others like her I was totally inspired by her strength and resourcefulness. Wu Kitty's is a tale of survival while overcoming obstacles that to others would have seemed insurmountable. Her Spirit and desire to live is uplifting and gives hope to those who think there is none. I was deeply touched by the way Wu Kitty and her mom found each other at a time when they both needed unconditional love and very thankful (as I am sure Wu Kitty was too) that she was saved from "Death Row" and given all of the comforts of home and the love she deserves by a woman who is so very grateful to have her in her life, quirks and all.Wu Kitty's story alone is worth purchasing the book but there are eleven more wonderfully unique life stories as told by the cats and kittens who lived them and the people who helped them have their happily ever after. This book is really interesting. It showa the eyes through the cat and their thoughts and emotions. I love cats but can't get one so I am always interested in cat stories. These cat stories makes me feel like I have one of my own, I enjoy reading them a lot. Mineor mistakes is that it's a little not well written. But, overall, I think it's a great book that teaches others that animals are like you too, they have emotions and feelings. I would definitely recommend this book to other people, not depending if you like animals or not.

These are all true stories and being told by the cats gives them a unique perspective . As both volumes of “Rescued “ are collections of different writers stories some are more impactful than others. I ordered and read both books. THis book caught my eye first, because my recent 1 year old adoptee lost her eye to glaucoma. As the headline says, all the stories in both books will resonate with the reader! Whether it is the story or the color and background of the kitty, the reader will understand completely.Recognition - that is what makes this book wonderful.Enjoy every word!
A great selection of stories about rescue cats from the cat's point of view. If you love animals, especially rescues you'll love this book.
The stories in this book were inspiring and heart-warming. This collection of stories of cats and their human rescuers is filled with laughter, some sorrow, compassion, and an abundance of love. I would recommend this uplifting book.
...but I am not a fan of pretending cats are telling their stories. I am happy, all the cats have wonderful homes!
